The Social Research Centre is a specialist provider of quantitative survey research services to government and academic institutions. Our core aim is to enhance knowledge and contribute to informed decision-making through conducting a high quality social research.
The Position
The Social Research Centre is looking to appoint a Senior Researcher to work directly with our Principal Research Adviser in the area of social marketing evaluation and health promotion research.
This is a mid level full-time role, but less experienced applicants with the right qualities & abilities are encouraged to apply.

Selection Criteria
- Tertiary degree qualified in a related field
- 3-5 years experience in the market and social research industry
- Well developed survey research skills including sampling, questionnaire design, statistical analysis and reporting
- Research experience in a CATI environment
- Superior ability to use software (SPSS, Microsoft Word and Excel) and other packages
- Experience in undertaking tracking and evaluation research for social marketing campaigns and health communications.
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to write for a range of audiences
- Good team player
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
- Grounding in behaviour change and marketing theory
- Demonstrated experience with multivariate data analysis
- A genuine interest in further developing a career in social and health research
