Prize Draw Terms and Conditions of Entry

Method of entry: Entry is open to respondents of the 2017 Graduate Outcomes Survey November collection period. To be included in the rolling prize draw those invited to complete the Graduate Outcomes Survey must complete the survey online at www.gos.edu.au.

Duration of entry period: The total entry period for inclusion in the competition is from survey launch on 25 October to 11.59pm AEST 27 November 2017. Four prize draws will occur during this period, with the following schedule:

  • Respondents who complete their survey before 11.59pm 6 November will be entered into all four prize draws and will be eligible to win a prize in each draw.
  • Respondents who complete their survey between 7 November and 11.59pm 13 November will be entered into three prize draws and will be eligible to win a prize in Prize Draw #2, #3 and #4.
  • Respondents who complete their survey between 14 November and 11.59pm 20 November will be entered into two prize draws and will be eligible to win a prize in Prize Draw #3 and #4.
  • Respondents who complete their survey between 21 November and 11.59pm 27 November will be entered into the last prize draw - Prize Draw #4.

Draw #1 - #4 1st Prize 3 x $1,000 Visa prepaid gift card drawn from the national pool
Draw #1 - #4 2nd Prize 5 x $500 Visa prepaid gift card drawn as follow:
1 x $500 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for NSW
1 x $500 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for QLD
1 x $500 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for VIC
1 x $500 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for SA & WA
1 x $500 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for ACT, NT & TAS
Draw #1 - #4 3rd Prize 10 x $250 Visa prepaid gift card drawn as follows:
3 x $250 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for NSW
2 x $250 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for QLD
2 x $250 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for VIC
2 x $250 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for SA & WA
1 x $250 Visa prepaid gift card drawn for ACT, NT & TAS

In total, 12 x $1,000, 20 x $500 and 40 x $250 will be drawn. Total prize draw values for each State are: NSW $5,000, Victoria $4,000, SA/WA $4,000, QLD $4,000, ACT/NT/Tas $3,000, and national $12,000. The total national prize pool is valued at $32,000.

Date, time and place of draw: The Prize Draw will be conducted with the following schedule:

  • Prize Draw #1: 1:00 pm AEST 08 November 2017
  • Prize Draw #2: 1:00 pm AEST 15 November 2017
  • Prize Draw #3: 1:00 pm AEST 22 November 2017
  • Prize Draw #4: 1:00 pm AEST 29 November 2017.

All draws from 08 November to 29 November 2017 will be conducted at Level 9, 277 William St, Melbourne, Victoria 3000. Winners will be identified through a random computer generated draw.

Publication of winner names: Winners will be notified by telephone or email and in writing. The names and the higher education institution record of all winners will be published in ‘The Australian’ newspaper, with the following schedule:

  • Prize Draw #1: 13 November 2017
  • Prize Draw #2: 20 November 2017
  • Prize Draw #3: 27 November 2017
  • Prize Draw #4: 04 December 2017.

Unclaimed prize draw: If any prizes are unclaimed by 05 March 2018, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 1:00 pm on 07 March 2018 at Level 9, 277 William Street, Victoria, Melbourne 3000.The winners will be notified by telephone or email and in writing. The names and the higher education institution recorded of all winners will be published in ‘The Australian’ newspaper on 12 March 2018.
