Australian Early Development Census

This is a national progress measure of early childhood development used by communities, governments and policy-makers pinpoint the types of services, resources and support that young children and their families need to give children their best possible start in life.

The project involves the design, development and deployment of a web-based data entry system to capture data for almost 309,000 children in their first year of schooling, across some 7,600 schools, through some 17,500 teachers.
