Millions of Australians are losing work or having their workplace disrupted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Monash University has contracted the Social Research Centre to conduct the telephone interviews required for this survey. You may have received a phone call or SMS regarding this study.
The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Arrangements can be made for you to participate at any time that is convenient for you.
All information you provide will be treated in strict confidence. The results will only be used for research purposes and will not be disclosed to anyone other than our client (Monash University).
Monash University will write reports using all the responses collected in the study. You will not be able to be identified in any reports from the study.
A fully de-identified copy of the study data will be made available to other researchers via the Open Science Foundation.
The survey is entirely voluntary but your participation is important for Monash University to see how people’s work experiences and health change during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
Your telephone number was randomly generated by a random digit dialling system. We call some people on their mobiles to help ensure we obtain a representative sample and to make sure we get opinions from a wide range of people.
If you have any questions about your participation in the survey or would like to make a time for an interviewer to call you, please call the Social Research Centre on 1800 023 040 (a free call).
