Prize draw terms and conditions
Method of entry:
Entry is open to services that complete the 2021 National Workforce Census. To enter, services invited to complete the 2021 National Workforce Census must complete the data collection online here or via direct email link during the specified entry period.
Duration of entry period:
The entry period for inclusion in the prize draw: For Vacation services is from 19 April 2021 to 28 May 2021; and for non-Vacation services is from 17 May 2021 to 25 June 2021.
Details of prizes and prize values:
The first two entries drawn in the prize draw for each state and territory will receive $750 towards educational materials or equipment for the benefit of the winning service. To receive the prize, services will be required to provide a written plan detailing how the service intends to spend the prize. The Department of Education and Training will need to approve the written plan before the prize is awarded. The prize will be awarded in the form of prepaid Visa gift card. In total, 16 x $750 vouchers (or equivalent) will be drawn. The total value of prizes to be awarded in each state / territory is $1,500. The total national prize pool is valued at $12,000.
Date, time and place of draw:
The Prize Draw will be conducted at 2:00 pm AEST on 9 August 2021. All draws will be conducted at Level 9, 277 William Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. Winners will be identified through a random computer-generated draw.
Publication of winner names:
Winners will be notified by telephone or email and in writing. The names and State or Territory of residence of all winning services will be published here on 13 August 2021.

Unclaimed prize draw:
If any prizes are unclaimed by 5:00 pm AEST on 10 October 2021, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 2:00 pm AEST on 11 October 2021 at the above address. The winners will be notified by telephone or email and in writing. The names and state of residence of all winners will be published here on 15 October 2021.
Contact details will only be collected and retained by “the Trader” for the purposes of the prize draw only and will not be released or used for any other purpose. Except for the announcement of the winning entries, all confidentiality will be retained and records in relation to the draw will be destroyed within State and Commonwealth Government requirements.
