On Track 2020

Client: Department of Education and Training (Vic)

This is an important survey of people who left school in 2019. It aims to help decision makers understand how young people can make a smoother transition into further education, training and/or employment.

The study is conducted on behalf of the Victorian Government by the Department of Education and Training (DET) and the Social Research Centre. You may have received a text message from 0438 795 849 (0438795849) regarding the study. For more information or previous year’s results visit: http://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/research/Pages/ontrack.aspx

If you are trying to log into your survey, please use the URL in the letter you received. Call 1800 252 663 if you no longer have the letter or if you are experiencing technical difficulties.

Your participation in this survey is important. We hope to hear from everyone who left school last year, irrespective of what they are doing in 2020.

School leavers have been surveyed for On Track every year since 2003. We understand that this year school leavers may be experiencing disruptions to their plans due to COVID-19 and we’ll take this into account if it has affected you.

We realise you might not have a lot of time, so the survey is short - it usually takes five minutes or less to complete.

If we are unable to reach you before the final week of the survey, we may ask a parent or family member to complete the survey on your behalf. If you would prefer this not to happen, please get in touch with the Social Research Centre on 1800 252 663 (free call).

If you have any questions about the survey or have misplaced your username and password, call the On Track helpline on 1800 252 663 (free call) or email ontrack@srcentre.com.au.
