Public health survey to improve health and related services
The research is about an important public health topic. Due to the nature of the survey questions, the public health agency involved cannot be revealed to respondents until after survey completion as this knowledge may influence survey answers.

The results of this survey will be used to help improve health and related services in Australia.
An Australian company that provides phone numbers for market and social research has supplied us with a list of mobile numbers. Some of these have been randomly generated, and others have been verified as belonging to a particular state in Australia.
The Do Not Call Register is for telemarketers who are trying to sell you something or get you to donate to charity. It does not apply to people who are only collecting opinions and conducting research.
The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete, depending on your answers. If you would prefer to participate in the survey at a more convenient time for you, this can be arranged. Please call the Social Research Centre on 1800 023 040 (free call) to schedule an appointment.
The survey is entirely voluntary however your cooperation is important to better understand the public’s knowledge and awareness of an important public health topic.
Any information you provide will be completely confidential and your answers will not be identified as individual responses. Responses are used for research purposes only and are treated in strict confidence. No other agency or department will have access to your details.
Your privacy is protected by Australian law. The study is carried out in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Privacy (Market and Social Research) Code 2021 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
